The Experience
Step into the cockpit and experience the freedom of flight.
This 30-minute introductory flying lesson at Newcastle Airport is a perfect way to discover the world of aviation. Whether you're taking your first step towards learning to fly or just curious about the experience, this lesson provides the ideal introduction.
You'll begin with a 15-minute pre-flight briefing, where your instructor will walk you through the aircraft, its controls, and essential safety information. Once you’re in the air, you'll take the controls and learn key techniques like climbs, descents, and straight-and-level flight—all under the watchful eye of an experienced, qualified pilot.
For added realism, your instructor will demonstrate a simulated engine failure and how to respond calmly and correctly. After landing, you’ll have time to ask questions during a post-flight debrief, giving you insight into your performance and what’s next if you want to pursue flying further.
Vouchers can be personalised with your own message, company logo, or even a short video greeting. You can choose to send them directly to the recipient or receive them yourself, either by email or post.
