The experience
Experience an exciting tandem paragliding adventure in Austria, where you will take off and soar into the skies after just a few steps. Float effortlessly over the impressive landscape of Salzburg, accompanied by an experienced tandem pilot. No previous experience is required, so this experience is accessible to everyone - even children aged 6 and over.
Available all year round
We offer tandem paragliding flights all year round, with opportunities to fly from various iconic locations in and around Salzburg. Flight availability may vary depending on weather conditions and the operating hours of the mountain railways.
Flight areas:
Salzburg City: Enjoy a bird's eye view of the beautiful city of Salzburg.
Werfenweng: Experience the flying paradise of Werfenweng.
Zell am See: Start from the Schmittenberg in the middle of the Alps.
Wolfgangsee: Fly from the Zwölferhorn over St. Gilgen.
Königssee: Float from the Jenner over the Berchtesgaden National Park (additional fee of €20).
Kössen: Start from the Unterberghorn in Tyrol.
Gerlitzen, Ossiacher See: Another scenic flight option.
Grossarl: Available in winter.
Flachau Wagrain: Also available in winter.
Booking & Preparation
To book your flight, simply select your preferred flight area, a flight option and the desired date and time. You will then receive an email with all the necessary information.
Flight experience
The classic tandem flight lasts up to 20 minutes, with the flight time varying depending on weather conditions. Suitable for all seasons, this experience requires no previous paragliding experience. Simply wear weatherproof and windproof clothing, sturdy shoes that reach above the ankles, and gloves. Helmets and flight equipment are provided.

Arrive on time at the agreed meeting point, where your pilot will be ready to take off with you for an unforgettable paragliding experience over Austria's most picturesque landscapes.
Basic requirements
You should be physically fit. The tandem paragliders are approved for participants up to 110 kg.
Weather conditions
The implementation depends on the weather. Good thermal conditions are necessary.
Duration
You can enjoy the flight for at least 20 minutes. It is possible to last up to an hour, but this depends on the thermals.
Number of participants
This experience takes place in groups of 1 to 15 people. Of course, you will experience your flight alone with your tandem master.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to come along and watch your flight from the ground.
Clothing
It is best to wear ankle-high shoes with a non-slip profile, durable clothing depending on the weather and gloves.

This experience can be booked from April to October.
